Hybrid Cars and the Environment

The car industry is one of the sectors in our world economy that polutes the most the atmosphere. It is not only the production but the whole process of driving the car that polutes the air since the common car is equiped with an engine with internal combustion so that car would move by the power released by fossil fuels. The fuels, however, are the main problem for our environment since the gases that are released while driving these cars are mainly carbon emissions - these substances influece te atmosphere and polute the environment.

This is the reason why after researching and developing certain technologies, the new hybrid cars have emerged - they are significantly reducing the amount of emissions in the air and are environmentally friendly.

The reason is because these vehicles are equiped with both an internal combustion engine and a motor that is usually driven by electricity. It is a major point to make that this is quite important for the atmosphere protection. It is a common fact that while working on fossil fuels, the car is completely dependant on that and the gases that are released are mainly carbon emissions.

In hybrid cars, because of the technology used (mixing two types of power to supply the car), less fuel is needed and electricity is used in order to move the motor. This reduces the required amount of fuel that the car would need for certain milage, the technology is adapted to ultimately save energy (e.g. the engine will stop working during the traffic stops) and the electricity, which is zero % dangerous to the atmosphere, will contribute to the use of less harmful substances.

With these approaches, that are now undertaken by most of the car companies, the people will still use the car as a main means of trasportation, but will harm less and less the environment -something that mankind desperately needs since the climate change is getting more and more obvious and the fossil fuel resources are lesser that ever.
